Thema der Dissertation: Toxic Waste Trade between West and East Germany
Kommentar: There are more than a 100 illegal waste dumps in Brandenburg, mainly packed with waste from the German capital, Berlin. Unsorted plastic waste lies directly next to asbestos plates or rusty cans of hairspray. My research brought me from the convenient desks in the archives to the uncomfortable realities of the waste business. This storage warehouse has luckily already been cleaned up, but many other sites remain contaminated.
